Danielle Shapiro

Managing Director, Yale Catering

Danielle most recently opened the Mondrian Doha as Director of Catering and Special Event Operations. Prior to her time in the Middle East, Danielle has 13 years of New York City catering experience with industry leaders including Marriott, Four Seasons and the iconic Tavern On The Green.  She holds a Masters Degree in Hospitality Industry Studies from New York University and a Bachelors Degree in Hospitality Management from The Ohio State University.   While her passion for the industry stemmed from growing up on the sidelines of her father’s restaurants, today there is nothing she enjoys more then designing and producing flawless and innovative events for her clients.  When Danielle is not at work, she loves to travel, practice yoga and try new restaurants.

Having catered to dignitaries and celebrities across the globe Chef Alassane not only brings talent to his team but a palette refined to the Worlds diverse cuisines.

Elizabeth has 16 years of experience in sales, event planning, and operational execution. She has notable success in large-scale event planning, off-premise events, logistics planning and production, with a proven ability to balance priorities, meet tight deadlines and produce superior quality. Prior to joining the Yale Catering team, she planned events at the Boca Raton Resort and Club, Jordan Caterers and Event Planners, and the Connecticut Bar Association. Elizabeth is a graduate of Florida Atlantic University, with a BA degree in Psychology.

Robert Stromquist

Catering Sales and Events Manager, Yale Catering

Rob is a graduate of the University of Kentucky Hospitality program. His experience includes working in off-premise catering at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan.  Rob has presided over the catering team at the Michigan Union, West Quad, and Munger Graduate Residences, where he developed the program from $1.6 million to a $2.1 million operation.
