Yale Hospitality announces Stacey Hepburn-James as Senior Director of Residential Operations

New Haven, Conn. — Yale Hospitality announces the appointment of Stacey Hepburn-James as Senior Director of Residential Operations after serving in an interim capacity. In support of Yale College, Stacey will be responsible for leading the strategic oversight and successful operations within Yale Hospitality’s 14 residential college dining halls.

Stacey began her tenure at Yale as Director of Hospitality Operations at Yale Schwarzman Center in 2019. Her leadership led to the successful development and execution of operational plans for the reimagined student center. Stacey was an integral leader among the Schwarzman Center team in successfully implementing new standards, technology, and concepts and incorporating these systems into its operating methodology. She then progressed into the Director of Strategic Initiatives and Business Support role where she was responsible for holistic operational excellence by overseeing workplace excellence and human capital management, sourcing and procurement, technology and innovation, marketing and communications, and critical strategic initiatives.

Prior to Yale, Stacey served in various senior leadership positions in premier hospitality operations, including Hilton Worldwide, Waldorf Astoria, Ritz Carlton, Renaissance, and Starwood-Marriott. Stacey holds both master’s and bachelor’s degrees in hospitality management and is a graduate of the inaugural cohort-elect of the Yale Emerge program established by Yale President, Peter Salovey in 2022. She sits on the Board of Trustees for the National Association of College and University Food Services (NACUFS) and is a member of several Yale committees.
