Our operations have been modified to meet state requirements for cleaning, social distancing, and capacity limits; this includes changes to all 14 residential college dining halls, 8 cafés and retail locations. Our plan offers grab-and-go sites, outdoor seating areas, and mobile ordering for your safety and convenience.
All residential meals have transitioned from self-serve/“all you care to eat” to a served, packaged model. All retail cafés will suspend self-service items, such as utensils and condiments, to reduce opportunities of person-to-person transmission and cross-contamination of surfaces.
For the Spring 2021 semester, students will receive reusable Yale Hospitality tote bags and water bottles for use to obtain their meals and beverages from the dining hall each day. We appreciate our students’ cooperation as this supports our sustainability initiatives on reducing single-use waste.
