Spring 2025 Announcement:
Below are the specific details of what will be changing at select colleges in the spirit of designing programs which adapt to students’ active lifestyles, offer menu diversity, and reduce food waste:
Hours: Lunch hours will shift to remain open until 2pm. Dinner hours will shift to remain open until 8pm.
Breakfast: The yogurt and oatmeal bar is being removed. The new menus will feature sweet/savory pastries, bagels and whole grain breads (with spreads/toppings), fruit, hard-boiled eggs, hummus, as well as all standard cereals, beverages and gluten friendly options. New specialty coffee machines are being added to feature lattes, cappuccinos, espresso, hot chocolate and more.
Locations: Berkeley, Davenport, Grace Hopper, Jonathan Edwards, Pierson, Timothy Dwight, Trumbull
Lunch: From the hot buffet line, one entree and one vegetable dish are being removed. The new menus will feature expanded salad bar options; as well as daily hot food options to include rotating grilled clean proteins (chicken, beef, etc.), grilled veggies, pastas, grains (quinoa, farro or rice), expanded grilled panini/sandwich options, burgers, fries, soups, flatbreads, as well as all standard desserts, cookies, fruit, beverages, and more.
